About us

I am a medical specialist in Dermatology and Venereology, with a solid academic background and extensive experience across various areas of dermatology, from aesthetic medicine to pediatric dermatology, and the management of dermatological conditions in international settings.

After graduating with a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan – Bicocca with honors (summa cum laude), I continued my education by specializing in Dermatology and Venereology at the University of Genoa.

My passion for dermatology has led me to train in various clinical settings, both in Italy and abroad. I had the opportunity to work at the Cima Hospital in San José, Costa Rica, as an internist and dermatologist, gaining international experience in a stimulating hospital environment.

Furthermore, I dedicated a part of my career to humanitarian dermatology, serving as a volunteer physician in Madagascar at Le Polyclinique, managing both outpatient and surgical cases.

My career has allowed me to explore diverse areas of dermatology, integrating clinical, aesthetic, and surgical skills. I completed an internship in aesthetic medicine at the clinic of Dr. Luca Zattoni, deepening my knowledge of aesthetic and innovative techniques for skin care and improvement.

A physician and surgeon specialising in Emergency Surgery, he is one of Italy’s leading experts in Proctology and Pelvic Floor Medicine: conditions of the anus, rectum and pelvic floor.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1992 and completed his specialisation in 1997, after training at the Policlinico Hospital in Milan and a period at the Hospital of Lleida, Spain, on an Erasmus scholarship.

From 2000 to 2016 he was a Consultant in General Surgery and Digestive Endoscopy at ASST Sette Laghi in Varese, where he headed the Proctology Unit from 2013. He completed further training at the Colorectal Eporediensis Centre in Ivrea and at the Proctology Centre of Treviso Hospital.

Today he works with Humanitas Gavazzeni in Bergamo, is Head of General and Proctological Surgery at Gruppo Iseni Sanità and Head of the Proctology and Pelvic Floor Unit at Villa Aprica in Como.
